Developing a high performance culture can be a daunting challenge for organisations given they have so many other pressing demands on time, attention and communication simply to keep the business running.

These demands have led me to develop simple, practical ways for leaders and their organisations to understand and foster High Performance Cultures. Four key capabilities I’ve identified as being the cornerstones of High Performance Cultures are:

Chiefing Your Tribe. Educate all your people leaders on the role and function of  culture in driving business performance, engaging employees and delighting your customers.

Being Customer Inspired. Explore and understand the challenges your customers face in their world and link how what you do as a business can resolve the customers key challenges.

Culture Planning. Get deliberate about the culture you want in your organisation and plan how to inspire and develop that culture.

Providing Clarity. Support your people to understand the business strategy, the customer value proposition and the company purpose or mission. Support all employees to clarify their own personal values to explore the alignment they have from their values to the businesses intent.
