Having work worth doing

Today's motivation comes from people experiencing their work as being worth doing. This sense of work being personally worthwhile comes from a number of elements. Among them are:
  • Knowing your job makes a difference to you and those important to you as well as to customers/community
  • Knowing that what you do, does make a real difference to the company doing what it wants/needs to do
  • Knowing what truly makes your job meaningful
  • Knowing the meaningful currencies you are being paid in everyday

With this knowledge indiviudals can move beyond simple engagement and develop what they do to become work that is continually worth doing.
